Wonderful Minds
Welcome to Wonderful Minds, an interactive quiz crafted during a class project and later embellished with a sprinkle of personal creativity. The quiz takes you on a light-hearted journey, introducing you to the works and achievements of notable scientists through a kitschy, witch-themed aesthetic.
Game Play:
- Click on the answer you think is right :
- if the answer is right the panel will turn green and you will hear a cat sound
- if the answer is wrong the panel will turn red and you will hear a goat sound
- The "Hint" bubble appears and dissappears at random positions in the screen, if you manage to click on it, the picture and bio of the scientist will appear and the screen
- Click on salem to get to the next question
- The stars below the title shows you the progress, as well as whether you answered right (yellow star) or wrong (less yellow star)
- You can turn the sound on or off anytime by clicking on the sound button
Technical Details:
- Built in with JavaScript using the Phaser library
- Questions and corresponding answers are stored in JSON format
- The quiz began as a straightforward coding exercise during my programming training at Interface3. We explored basic functionalities and user interactions. It later underwent multiple transformations, with additional features and code refactoring to enhance usability and maintainability, without becoming overly complex.
